"5G is coming".
We have heard it repeated by telecommunications giants and smartphone manufacturers for years. The fifth generation network promises incredibly fast download speeds, an IoT revolution and a fast transmission with virtually zero latency, but what good is 5G without 5G phones?
We have compiled a list of all the major Android manufacturers that have bothered or confirmed phones with 5G support. We will collect all the rumors, speculations and news confirmed here in the coming months and update the publication as more information comes up.
Who will win the race to the first real 5G phone? Let's find out.
Google
In typical Google fashion, the search giant is letting others make big promises, and is testing false ideas in the background, such as offering high-speed mobile Internet through drones.
In theory, the Google Pixel 4 could support 5G, although I can not stand the breath. Google has been more than happy to skip the latest technology in the past. The Pixel 3 series missed a fingerprint sensor on the screen and still contains a camera lens and only 4GB of RAM.

If you are hoping to get a 5G phone from Mountain View, you may want to keep your eyes on Verizon. Google has traditionally partnered with Verizon as the exclusive operator of the Pixel range, and Verizon is completely on board the 5G pumping train.
Google has already partnered with Verizon to offer "free" Chromecasts for its 5G Home service, which is currently only found in four cities in the US. UU
Could a Pixel 4 compatible with 5G be launched on Verizon in the fourth quarter of 2019? The jury is still out.
HMD Global (Nokia)
The licensee of Nokia HMD Global was one of the many OEMs listed by Qualcomm who are working on devices configured for the launch "as of 2019", which include the Snapdragon X50 5G modem ready for 5G.
That announcement came back in February and the HMD logo also appeared on a list of collaborators for Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 SoC at the silicon giant's summit in December.
That does not mean that we will definitely see a Nokia 5G phone with Android in 2019, only that the Finnish firm has plans for 5G at some time in the future, possibly in the future.
Huawei
There is no OEM on this list with a greater share in the 5G success than Huawei. From the hardware of the core network to the 5G chips, to the real phones that support the network, the Chinese giant is integrated into the entire 5G infrastructure. Until April of this year, Huawei would have spent $ 600 million on 5G research since 2009.
Despite high profile setbacks in the US UU , Huawei is driving 5G solutions in China, Europe and beyond. However, all that will not mean much if you do not have a phone to direct the load.
